BRAD WILLIAMS

The Salty Dogs sound the way country music should sound. Authentic and looking forward. One foot in Arkansas, one foot in California. I’ll have more please!
— Odie Blackmon (Grammy Nominated Songwriter)

singer/songwriter/musician

Brad Williams is a singer/songwriter/musician. Brad was born and raised in the Arkansas Delta, only 18 miles from Johnny Cash’s home and 39 miles from Elvis Presley’s Graceland. Brad has combined all his influences into a 25-year career in music. Brad’s tunes have been heard in motion pictures such as Valley Inn, Joe’s College Road Trip, Brian, and Divorce In The Black, on television (Sundance’s Rectify, Tyler Perry’s series If Loving You Is Wrong, Beauty In Black, TLC’s Trading Spaces), and on various other advertising spots including Arkansas State Parks and Tourism. The Salty Dogs have been Brad’s main project over the last 20 years, spawning such awards as the 2003 Arkansas Times Musician’s Showcase Winner for Best Original Band in AR, 2018 Central Arkansas Music Awards Winner for Best Country Artist, and the Arkansas Country Music Association’s 2021 Vocal Band of the Year. On November 25th, 2022, Brad released his first solo project (self-recorded and produced), The Greatest Is Love. The Greatest Is Love received a 2023 nomination for Album of the Year Finalist by the Arkansas Country Music Association.

Brad Williams’ voice is something special. Like a flower pressed in the pages of a dusty book and then forgotten about for several decades, his country baritone is smooth, crisp and worn, and seems lifted from a different time.
